I’m always on the lookout for desserts which taste naughty but won’t pile on the pounds. When a friend came round for dinner last week I tried making a low-fat trifle, and it tasted great.
Its hardly a recipe, just a construction job from bits and pieces I had hanging around in the fridge and freezer – a bag of frozen summer fruits, low-fat ready made custard, light cream cheese, low fat yoghurt and trifle sponges. Easy peasy!
There’s absolutely no point giving quantities here as it entirely depends on the size of your glasses. I made the fruit layer the largest, and the custard the smallest, but its entirely up to you!
